OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Sport Trail is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for special trailers, such as boat, utility, horse and other stock and cargo trailers. This model is only meant to be used on trailers. It cannot be mounted on light truck vehicles.
The ribbed tread pattern and the all season compound work together to ensure a safer dry, wet and winter weather performance. The tire is capable of firmly gripping the road surface in all weather. The circumferential grooves effectively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The maintained road contact and tread design boost the all weather traction and ensure a secure driving experience.
The tire's internal structure features a bias construction. Tires with such structures have stiffer sidewalls, which decrease the swaying of the trailer, and they are capable of handling heavier loads. They stabilize the trailer during the drive, which provides a safer driving experience. The bias ply construction improves the puncture and damage resistance, guaranteeing long lasting usability.
