The Carlisle Radial Trail HD is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire is able to handle versatile weather conditions. The ideal tread design and the all season compound increase the tire’s traction in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges to increase road grip, while the silica compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. They resist hydroplaning and ensure the tire’s safe performance, even on wet roads.
Better controllability is promoted with this tire model. The ribbed tread design securely follows the road throughout the drive. As a result, it enhances steering responsiveness and towing stability. It promotes quick and precise steering responses to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
