OVERVIEW
The Carlisle PTX2 is an all season, all terrain tire manufactured for ATVs and UTVs.
The tire is made of strong materials, and has a reinforced internal structure that provide excellent durability. The tire maintains its optimal shape under the load and driving pressure without any difficulty, preserving the tread's most beneficial capabilities. The tread is specially designed to uniformly distribute the pressure across the tire tread. This prevents deformations from happening and makes the tire an ideal choice for heavy payload applications.
The arrowhead-shaped and shoulder blocks on the tread are arranged to maximize the driving stability provided by the tire. This way, steering responsiveness becomes quick and precise, while driving stability is greatly enhanced as well. In addition, it ensures a better structural stability for the tire under the load pressure. The tread pattern also plays a huge role in maximizing the model's surface contact.
The tire's tread pattern provides plenty of biting edges, as the arrowhead-shaped blocks face each other towards the center. There are also tiny sipes available both on the center and shoulder blocks that help with traction. These tread elements help the tire conquer loose, uneven and soft terrains, maximizing its off-road performance. The PTX2 also has its self-cleaning technology that disperses snow, and eliminates dirt and rocks from the footprint.
