OVERVIEW
The Bridgestone Turanza ER300A RFT is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model was made as the original equipment tire of select vehicles.
The tire enhances the summer weather traction. The summer compound and the asymmetric tread design manage to upgrade the tire's dry and wet weather performance. The stronger compound elements effectively prevent heat build-up across the tread area, while the tread design firmly grips the road surface. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning, as they disperse water from the footprint. As a result, water on the roads cannot cut off the tire's surface contact, promoting a safer summer performance.
The run flat technology used to make this model enables its limited, temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. As the tire maintains its ideal tire shape when air pressure is lost due to a puncture or some other hand, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. In this manner, the tire can be driven to a nearby location, where the tire can be switched or fixed. This prevents the vehicle from being stranded, offering a safer performance. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle with regular tires.
The maintained surface contact of the ribbed pattern upgrades the controllability. The center ribs ensure the tire's consistent road contact, which helps to enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering is quick and precise in its response to the driver's instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The asymmetric tread design, the durable compound, and the reinforced structure all work together to optimize the tire's high speed durability. They prevent heat build-up and keep the ideal shape in order to enable the tire's high speed performing power.
The Turanza ER300A RFT promotes high driving comfort levels. The reinforced internal structure and the asymmetric tread's pitch variation help to decrease the road vibrations and noise levels. The maintained tire shape enables the tire's close surface contact, absorbing the shock of driving. On the other hand, the tread negates the sound waves generated while the tires are in motion. This combination promotes a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
