OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Potenza S007 RFT is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The ribbed tread elements are able to closely follow the driving surface, improving the controllability and driving stability of the vehicle. These tread ribs boost the surface contact by providing a high number of biting edges. It enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's instructions, enabling them to control the vehicle with ease. The sipe and notch placement enhances the maneuvering ability by boosting the cornering power and braking capability. The high number of biting edges generate friction at the moment of braking, shortening the braking distance, while firm grip improves the cornering ability.

The run flat technology enables the tire to perform at limited speeds for 50 miles in case of an air pressure loss caused by puncture or some other type of damage. The model utilizes its reinforced sidewall construction to allow the driver to take the vehicle to the nearest location. In other words, it prevents the vehicle from being stranded on the side of the road. Run flat tires and regular tire models should not be mounted together on the same vehicle due to their construction and weight differences.
