OVERVIEW
The Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This tire offers superb summer weather road grip. The asymmetric tread pattern provides exceptional traction in dry and wet conditions, but it is not suited for winter weather driving. The tire compound loses its great traction in colder temperatures, while the tread design does not have enough sipes in it to grip the road well in snow or on ice. The circumferential grooves in the tread pattern, however, provide extra safety in wet weather by eliminating water from below the footprint, effectively resisting hydroplaning.
This model was manufactured using the 3D Seamless Stealth Technology, and it Bridgestone's first street tire to be made using the brand's racing technologies. It offers improved high speed stability and the tire is able to perform to its fullest capabilities. The tread pattern, with the circumferential ribs, enhance the tire's steering precision. The asymmetric tread pattern provides a flatter footprint, which maintains constant road to tire contact, for upgraded steering precision and responsiveness. The accurate steering provides more safety for high speed performance.
The driving safety is further enhanced with the boosted cornering of the tire. Its cornering ability and power and its maneuvering ability are increased, as the shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges in those situations. The better cornering and maneuvering performance is boosted in both dry and wet conditions and it offers excellent safety.
The Potenza RE-11 guarantees comfort. The optimized tread pattern reduces the road noise generated while the tire is in motion and is offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
