OVERVIEW
The Bridgestone Duravis R500 HD is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial trucks. This model has some special trailer sizes available as well, which should not be mounted on light trucks.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The TBR compound and the ribbed tread design with the added siping detail enhances the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design's wide tread grooves eliminate water and slush from below the footprint to prevent hydroplaning. They also manage to keep the tire's road contact constantly by cleaning out mud and snow and ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements. The constantly clean footprint allows the tire to keep its road contact at all times, further upgrading the all weather performance and driving safety.
The model offers an extended usability. Firstly, the tire compound and closed shoulder slots slow the tread wear rate down and promote an even tread wear. This is achieved as the tread compound is wear-resistant, while the tread design equally distributes the driving pressure along the tread area, preventing irregular wear formations across the tread. The tire's special damage resistance also extends its usability. The stone ejectors prevent stone retention, the TBR compound avoids cuts, chipping and tearing, and the dual sidewall protectors prevent damage to the tire's construction. The result is a longer lasting usability and tread wear length.
The special ribbed tread design maintains a constant road contact. The continuous ribs boost the steering responsiveness and driving stability in this manner. The tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering is upgraded to be faster and more precise in its responsive to the driver's instructions. The Duravis R500 HD has excellent durability. The internal structure features strengthened steel belts that reinforce the tire's construction.
