OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Dueler H/T 685 (OE) is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for sport utility vehicles and light trucks. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles.

These specific tires are Dealer Take Off Tires. This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.

The tire offers a safer year round performance. The optimized tread design with the added sipes, the larger road contact patch and the all season tire compound firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The stronger tire compound does not lose its traction in colder temperatures, while the tread elements keep their firm grip even when driving on snow and ice. The four wide circumferential grooves, the smaller lateral grooves and the high siping density prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The result is a more secure all weather traction.

The model's internal structure features two heavy duty steel belts and a 2 ply polyester construction. They enhance the tire's strength and prevent it from deforming under the driving pressure affecting the tire. This also increases the model's durability and with it its load carrying capability. The tire does not deform under the load pressure affecting the tire during the drive, which boosts the model's load carrying and towing ability. The maintained tire shape allows the tire to closely follow the road surface in all weather, lowering the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. The lower levels of vibrations guarantee a comfortable drive, while the stronger tire structure ensures a safer driving experience.

The Dueler H/T 685 (OE) features an optimized tire footprint that maintains road contact at all times. The better road contact patch firmly grips the road surface, boosting the tire's controllability. The steering responsiveness and the driving stability get upgraded as the ribbed tread design keeps its contact with the road. This stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands. The optimized footprint also evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevent irregular wear formations across the tread area, extending the tread life and the tire's usability.
