OVERVIEW
The Blackhawk BDM90 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was designed for drive axles.
Excellent year-round traction is offered with this model. The durable all season compound and the larger tread blocks effectively enhance the tire’s dry, wet, and winter weather grip. Stronger rubber materials keep the tire pliable throughout the year, optimizing its summer and winter performance. Additionally, the tread’s sipe and groove placement firmly grips the road with extra biting edges. This greatly boosts the tire’s overall driving safety levels. The ideal groove placement avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint.
The tire provides a longer-lasting tread life by utilizing stable tread elements and the durable compound blend. They actively combat premature and irregular wear formations across the tread area. The compound greatly decreases the treadwear rate while the stable tread elements prevent tread flexing. On the other hand, they also avoid tread and casing damage. Stronger rubber materials prevent the tire’s chipping, cracking, and tearing.
