OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Route Control S is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was created for the steer axle of the vehicle.
This model is created with uniform tread wear in mind with its extra wide tread and micro-sipes. The 5-rib tread is already a great preset for uniform wear. The microsiping technology is there as another preventive measure against irregular wear to ensure long tread life. With its strong rubber compound and carefully designed tread, this tire is ready for the long haul.
With the reinforced sidewall, the tire can run over potholes and curbs safely. Its built-in curb guard absorbs shocks and impacts, making it completely safe to run through bumps on the road. Both the sidewall and the shoulder ribs are ready to withstand huge loads. The tire's uniform wear also preserves its load carrying ability. With the reinforced structure, cornering becomes much easier.
The tire promotes a zig-zag, flow-thru grooves for seamless water evacuation. Its ability to immediately channel the water away and give way to the tread surface to establish traction is essential for all season use. Hydroplaning resistance is essential for grip, as the tread has to be in consistent contact with the road surface. The siping pattern guarantees traction on snowy, dripping wet and dry roads.
