OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.
This all season model has great all weather traction, including on off-road surfaces. While the aggressive tread pattern provides exceptional off-road traction, the tire is not recommended for deep snow driving, as the tire is missing the tread lugs that offer biting edges in snow. The self-cleaning tread pattern design clears out mud stuck between the tread blocks. This also increases its road grip. It is also resistant to hydroplaning, as the tread grooves eliminate water from beneath the tire's footprint.
The Krawler inspired tread pattern increases its off-road control and traction, while the elastic linear flex zones in the tread pattern effortlessly conquer all off-road obstacles, by adjusting to the uneven surfaces at low speeds and in an aired down state. The tire's reinforced structure provides enhanced resistance to damages, such as chipping, cracking and tearing, as well as bruising due to rocks or rough, uneven terrain. The reinforced sidewall structure enables the tire to handle and transport heavier loads and boosts the soil traction.
The tire's TriGard compounds improves the tire's steering precision by keeping constant contact between the tire and the road. It also increases the tire's cornering ability and power with the additional biting edges, making the on-road driving experience safer.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
