FEATURES AND BENEFITS

- Enhanced Controllability
OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Krawler T/A KX is an all terrain, all season tire made for light trucks. The KX in its name is an abbreviation that stands for Key feature: eXtreme traction.
This model is an all-round rock-crawling tire that deals with mud, dirt and rocks with ease. This is mainly thanks to its large scattered tread blocks and the varied voids between them. The tire is made of a soft rubber compound that easily gets a good grip on the road surface with the super deep tread. With an aggressive tread specifically designed for uneven surfaces, even the most difficult rocky tracks can be conquered.
Since rocks can cause serious damage to the tire, reinforcing the sidewall with four nylon plies was the right design choice. While the tread blocks are soft and flexible, the carcass of the tire is extremely tough, helping the tire maintain its structure. The large sidewall lugs are there to help the tire establish traction and to put up some resistance against rocks. The internal structure of this model is reinforced by twin steel belts, while overall protection is enhanced by the rim protector.
The tire tread is carefully designed for controllability, as the large blocks can cover a big enough surface contact area. By establishing a reliable grip with the road surface, the driving stability and steering responsiveness of this tire kick in. The Krawler T/A KX is an unshakable rock crawler with an aggressive tread pattern that almost never slips.
