OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles. BFGoodrich offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with V speed rated sizes and a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with H and T speed rated sizes.
This all season tire has great traction in all weather conditions, including dry, wet and winter weather made possible by the 3D Active Sipe Technology. The tire does not lose its excellent traction in the colder winter temperatures. In fact, it is branded with the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol, noting its usability even in severe winter conditions. The wavy center rib and the lateral grooves in the tread pattern enhance the tire's wet grip while also dispersing water from below the footprint, making it safer to use in dangerous hydroplaning situations.
The tire's tread area wears out evenly. This is thanks to the enlarged and optimized tire footprint. The footprint was designed to make the tread life last longer, as the driving force is equally distributed along it, preventing irregular wear. The tire also maintains its traction for a longer period of time. It does not lose its traction because the full-depth tread features maintain the road grip even when the tire is worn out.
The ETEC System, or Equal TEnsion Containment System, provides precise handling and high speed stability. Due to this system, the tire does not deform and it maintains its optimal shape throughout the drive. The ETEC System and the continuous center rib (which provides constant road-to-tire contact) enhance the tire's handling and its steering responsiveness. The better handling and steering precision allow the driver to quickly respond to the differing road conditions, enhancing the safety of the drive.
The Advantage T/A Sport LT does not deform under the driving pressure of different road conditions. This is made possible by the G-Wedge Sidewall Stabilizer that reinforces the internal structure of the tire. This feature makes the tire keep its shape during cornering and maneuvaring, improving the driving safety and high speed durability of the model.
