OVERVIEW
The Atlas Tire STRD-09E+ is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The tire was made to be mounted on all axle positions of buses and on the steer and drive axles of commercial vehicles.
The tire's tread design increases the length of the tread life. The symmetric ribbed pattern and the wear-resistant compound work together to increase the model's usability. The flat footprint's road contact manages to equally spread out the force of acceleration, cornering and braking. The tread design's even pressure distribution, in this manner, prevents irregular tread wear formations along the tread area. The durable wear-resistant compound significantly decreases the tread wear rate during the tire's performance. This combination manages to lengthen the tread life and boost its usability.
The model was designed with a reinforced internal structure. The construction features full length steel belts that maintain the tire's ideal shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. As the tire's shape does not deform during the model's heavy load performance, it can easily carry and withstand heavy loads.
