OVERVIEW
The Atlas Tire Priva R/T is a rugged terrain, all season tire designed for light trucks and SUVs.
Excellent year-round traction is provided with this tire. The ideal tread design and the all season compound increase the tire’s traction in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges to increase road grip, while the silica compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. They resist on-road hydroplaning and ensure the tire’s safe performance, even on wet roads.
The tire promotes exceptional rugged terrain performance. The aggressive tread pattern can easily maintain forward motion, thanks to the large tread elements and their strong grip. This tread can easily handle hard, rocky, and uneven terrains. The tread design also prevents stone retention from harming the tire’s casing. These optimized tread elements also maintain a clean footprint during the performance, which enables the tire to have better contact with the driving surface. It also helps combat stone retention.
This tread pattern and the rubber compound increase the model’s contact with the driving surface and enhance controllability. The tread design manages to maintain surface contact throughout the drive. In this manner, the tire greatly improves controllability, by boosting steering responsiveness and driving stability. This allows the tire to be quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure affecting the tire during the performance. The better handling guarantees the driver’s control over the vehicle.
The Atlas Tire Priva R/T's damage resistance and load capacity are upgraded. The tire uses its reinforced casing to boost its load-carrying capability. As the tire does not deform, it is able to effectively upgrade load capacity. On the other hand, the casing, the tread, and the compound work together to protect the casing and the tread area from damage. Stone retention is avoided, while the casing and the tread are protected to enhance the tire’s service life.
Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
