The Atlas Tire DRV-09 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was created for drive axles.
The tire offers secure all season traction. The staggered block placement and wide groove placement work together in order to increase the tire's dry, wet, and winter grip. These tread elements provide additional biting edges, offering a safer drive. On the other hand, the stronger compound elements also enable the tire's year-round performance. This guarantees its summer and winter weather grip. Wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning.
The reinforced internal structure helps to increase its load durability. The construction does not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure. The model offers better load carrying and withstanding ability, enabling its exceptional load capacity. The increases its load handling power, offering the tire's heavy-duty, commercial applications.
The Atlas Tire DRV-09 offers a longer-lasting tread life. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
