The Atlas Tire AP-100 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model is designed to be mounted on all axle positions.
The ideal tread design and its close road contact improve steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The outer ribs upgrade cornering. These elements increase overall controllability and maneuvering, giving the driver control over the vehicle.
The model provides superb all season traction. The ribbed tread pattern grips the road well in dry, wet, and winter conditions. The all season compound maintains the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. Circumferential grooves in the tread pattern help resist hydroplaning, by dispersing water from below the footprint. The tire is safe to use throughout the year, even in wet-weather conditions.
The reinforced internal structure and the durable rubber compound work together to improve load and driving durability. They maintain the optimal tire shape under the pressure affecting the model. This increases the tire's load-carrying and withstanding ability, making it perfect for heavy-duty performance.
The Atlas Tire AP-100 offers longer-lasting tread life. The ribbed tread design and the wear-resistant compound prevent irregular and premature wear formations. This tread pattern evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows the treadwear rate down. These elements significantly lengthen the tire's service life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
