OVERVIEW

The Atlas Tire AP-09 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial tires. It can be placed on all wheel positions.

The tire offers superb all season traction. The special tire compound and five-rib tread design enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tire compound keeps its flexibility in all weather conditions, while the tread design firmly grips the road surface all year round. The wide circumferential grooves actively avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The result is a safer performance in all weather conditions.

The tire's road contact and internal structure boost the model's durability. The ribbed tread design maintains its road contact at all times which evenly circulates the driving and load pressure along the tire. The internal structure features a 16 to 18 ply construction, depending on the specific size, that avoids deformation. The structure reinforces the tire to be able to handle and transport heavy loads with ease and prevent the deformation of its optimized tire shape. The enhanced load carrying ability improves the tire's intended performance as a long haul tire.

The AP-09 ensures a lengthened tread life. The five-rib design and the solid shoulder ribs manage to equally distribute the driving pressure along the tire's structure. This actively resists the formation of irregular wear patterns across the tread area. The result is an extended tread life and tire usability with the longer lasting even tread wear.
