Armstrong Tru-Trac Van
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced controllability
- All season performance
- Upgraded load durability
OVERVIEW
The Armstrong Tru-Trac Van is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vans.
Excellent on-road traction and road contact greatly improve the tire's handling. The closer and better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Furthermore, the shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges, which grip the road surface. This allows the tire to enhance its cornering and maneuvering ability. This guarantees a safer handling, as the tire ensures a secure performance.
The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. Year-round traction and hydroplaning resistance are offered with this model. Durable rubber materials keep the tire pliable in changing temperatures, by using weather-resistant rubber. On the other hand, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges that firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges. Hydroplaning is avoided thanks to the groove pattern. These grooves prevent water and slush from cutting off the tire's road contact in wet conditions.
The Armstrong Tru-Trac Van offers superb load and driving durability. Tires can deform under load pressure if their construction is not strong enough. Therefore, by reinforcing the sidewalls of this tire, it is able to securely handle larger loads. Great load capacity is ensured as the tire manages to increase its ability to carry and withstand such loads.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
