Armstrong Ski-Trac HP215/55R16 • 97H • Winter • Performance

I live in a snowy area with lots of unpaved roads and steep hills and have always used Hakkapeliittas. I had to put new snow tires on for this winter and, after a difficult year, just couldn’t stretch my funds to buy top-of-the-line tires. These Armstrongs had good reviews and fit my budget, but I absolutely was expecting to be disappointed. So far, I have been proven wrong. These tires are surprisingly quiet and smooth on dry roads, and I’ve felt confident with no problems at all on snowy, slushy, or icy roads. I can’t speak to tread wear because I have only driven about 800 miles on them. At this point, I would not hesitate to recommend these if you are looking for a solid, affordable snow tire. Very pleased with the service and fast shipping from Priority Tire, as well.

I've had a lot of top name brands on my cars but because I wear them out in just a season I thought I would try something different this year. . . And I was very surprised at how well this tire handled and also we were able to take it off road just a tiny bit in some snow and it handled wonderfully. I'm still waiting for a big storm and a little slush to give it the full review but for right now it handles great it's quiet, even at 80 mph. Thank you, money has been very tight this year and the money we saved will go a long ways towards Christmas.
