OVERVIEW
The Armstrong Desert Dog MT is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire promotes excellent mud terrain performance with the aggressive tread design. The staggered, zigzag block pattern, high void ratio, and detailed sidewall pattern upgrade the soft, loose, and uneven terrain traction. This enables the tire to greatly improve its performing capability throughout the performance, increasing the deep mud and loose terrain surface grip. The tread elements disperse mud and snow stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from blocking the surface contact. The combination of these elements greatly enhances the model's off-road terrain performing capability.
The self-cleaning nature of the tread and the reinforced sidewall plies boost the tire's damage resistance. The tread elements feature zigzag stone ejectors which eliminate rocks stuck in the footprint. As a result, they cannot drill into the tread area and cause stone retention. The sidewall structure and the detailed sidewall design work together to prevent external damage. They avoid punctures, cuts, and impact damage from shortening the tire's overall service life.
Controllability is also improved with the tread design. The stabilized block placement enables the tire to increase the surface contact while the tires are in motion.
