The Armstrong ASR1+ is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made for the vehicle's steer axle. The symmetric ribbed tread design and the all season compound increase the dry, wet, and winter weather traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as well. The ribbed tread design ensures the road contact at all times, which significantly increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The square shoulders also increase the cornering ability and power. The ribbed pattern's stability and the durable compound elements of the ASR1+ improves the tread life length, by greatly avoiding irregular and premature wear.

The symmetric ribbed block placement of the footprint and the all season compound work together to boost the dry, wet, and winter weather traction as well. The tread elements effectively grip the road surface, as the optimized footprint firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges. The stronger compound keeps the rubber flexibility in different weather conditions, helping to upgrade the summer and winter traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as the grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint.

The flat footprint greatly improves the controllability as well.

The ribbed tread design manages to closely and consistently follow the road surface throughout the drive. These tread elements ensure the tire's upgraded steering responsiveness and driving stability.
