Armstrong ASH12
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Upgraded load durability
- Longer-lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Armstrong ASH12 is a highway terrain, all weather tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It is designed to be mounted on steer axle positions.
The model offers great all weather traction. The ribbed tread pattern and the all weather compound boost the tire's dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. In other words, the optimal tread pattern maintains road contact at all times, while the all weather compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. On the other hand, the tread's optimal grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint in wet situations.
The ribbed tread design maintains continuous road contact at all times. It improves the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time becomes faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. At the same time, the outer ribs and their consistent contact with the driving surface help the tire have better cornering and maneuvering.
The strengthened internal structure and the durable rubber compound boost the tire's load and driving durability. They maintain the optimal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under pressure, it can easily carry and withstand heavy loads. This load capacity and handling power make this model an excellent choice for heavy-duty performance.
The Armstrong ASH12 promotes a longer-lasting tread life. The ribbed tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows the treadwear rate down. These elements reduce the change of irregular and premature wear formations, which lengthens the tire's service life.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
