Armstrong ASH+
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season traction
- High driving comfort levels
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Armstrong ASH+ is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's steer axle.
The tire increases its year round traction. It combines the ribbed tread design and the durable compound elements to greatly upgrade the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The siped tread elements allow the tire to increase the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, boosting the all weather performing power. On the other hand, the stronger compound elements maintain their rubber flexibility in summer and winter weather conditions. The tread design's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This promotes a secure all season performance.
The ribbed tread design and the siping placement greatly boost the comfort levels. The tread design with the siping detail allows the tire to decrease the road noise levels heard by the passengers. They channel airwaves through the footprint, minimizing the road disturbances actually reaching the vehicle's cabin. This results in the passengers' driving enjoyment.
This footprint also manages to boost the controllability. The maintained surface contact helps to improve the steering responsiveness and driving stability at all times. As a result, the tire greatly increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This guarantees the driver's better control over the vehicle, promoting a safer drive.
The ASH+ improves the length of the usability. The tire combines the tread design and durable compound to increase the model's overall service life. The tread design's ribbed pattern ensures a close and constant surface contact, which enables the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the tread area. The durable compound protects the tire from premature wear by utilizing wear-resistant elements. The slow and even wear ensures the tire's better and longer lasting tread life.
