2016 VW Golf R
245/35/20 on 20x85
I recently reviewed these and haven't had a chance to actually review them during the winter season. so here goes..
Denver recently had a couple of moments with 2-3inches of fresh snow. They did surprisingly well! 2-3inches, the tires gripped. And off the line, they hooked well. At the light, I'm the first one taking off against 4Runners and SUV's, and I'm already way ahead of them(still doing 30mph), doing nothing stupid of course. Just driving normal.
Driving on slush as well, they did great. I surprised how well these are holding up during the winter season here. Are they better than "snow tires", absolutely not. But considering they are your generic All Season's...they're great actually.
I can actually feel confident in these tires/brand. 10/10 would recommend and buy again.
Again in summer, they gripped. rain held up well. Snow during winter...they're doing well!
The awesome thing about Priority Tire is that they carry off brands that are up & coming. Buying 20in tires from Tire Rack/Discount Tire, with top of the line name brands...would cost me over 1k. I can get a brand new set for less than $400-500. And I've been through 3 different "off brand" tires from here, and I can confidently say they can go toe 2 toe with the bigger popular name brands.
I will only shop here from now on.

So far so good. I recently had 245/30’s on my rims(20x9) but decided to go with something a bit thicker, just for a piece of mind for cushion. I know it’s crazy to run 20s all year round, but there a handful of cars now days running 20s from factory.
Anyway, went with 245/35’s instead.
The tire itself, is great looking. Love how the 35’s look. It did take a bit of getting used to.
Tread pattern is great.
Summer/dry - great
Wet/rain - great
Snow/slush/ice - currently experiencing it now. Denver had its first snowfall(1-2inches), and it held up well.
Still have yet to experience it with inches of snow, but so far, a couple of inches have drove great. No ice yet. But I’ll come across that situation eventually.
Over so far with the weather I have experienced since having these - 10/10.
Pricing for 20in tires - 10/10
No other tire shop or online shop can beat the prices for these size. Being a somewhat “off brand”, these can definitely go toe-2-toe with the more popular bigger name brands.
If they can last me 2+ seasons(4season state), I’ll be happy.
