I bought 6 of these and put them on my 1986 GMC C3500 dually that I use to tow very heavy loads and these tires perform way better than the 235/85-16 I was running. The Americus tires are a much stiffer tire being load G rated but have less rolling resistance which equals better mileage. The only downside was that a few of them took quite a bit of weight to balance out but like I said they're frickin 14ply load G rated tires! I definitely recommend these if you use your rig for hauling heavy loads, they're basically commercial tires.
I installed these on my F-350 box van in the place of the stock tires. My stock tires rode as if they were overloaded. These carry my truck much better. There is some road noise at highway speed. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a heavy duty tire. They feel great. Not much different than stock. You should ask your mechanic before buying these, to see if he can install them without an issue.
