OVERVIEW

The Americus LT 2000 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for all axle positions of the vehicle.

The tire upgrades the year round traction during the performance. The all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design to increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The durable compound elements enable the tire to enhance the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, while the tread design with the siping placement enhances the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further boosting the wet weather driving capability.

The ribbed pattern maintains the surface contact at all times. The maintained surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder ribbed pattern with the siping placement firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges. This ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle at all times.

The LT 2000 greatly enhances the load durability. The reinforced steel belt structure allows the tire to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. In this manner, the tire does not deform under the pressure, boosting the overall load capacity.
