OVERVIEW
The Americus Commercial L/T is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model also has some trailer sizes available, which should not be mounted on trucks.
The tire enhances the all weather traction. The all season compound and the symmetric tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile, summer and winter weather temperatures, thanks to the stronger rubber materials. The ribbed tread block placement, and the detailed siping pattern, enhance the grip on the road surface with the use of additional biting edges. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, boosting the wet weather performing safety.
The symmetric tread design's close and constant surface contact greatly improves the controllability. The better road contact allows the tire to enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability while the tires are in motion. In this manner, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This combination results in the driver's better control over the vehicle. The model features a reinforced internal structure, which maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the tire.
