OVERVIEW
The Alliance (Yokohama) Agriflex+ 389 is an all season tire manufactured for tractors.
The non-directional tread design with the angled lug pattern and the zigzag center block placement optimizes the model's surface contact while the tires are in motion. This enables the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the performance. In other words, the tire guarantees a faster and more accurate steering response, while the structural stability is maintained at all times. This combination ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle.
The model was manufactured with the VF, or very high flexion, technology. This technology allows the tire to keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As a result, the tire is able to carry and handle heavy loads with ease, without the tire's deformation under the pressure. This is also possible during the tire's lowered inflation levels as the VF technology allows the radial construction to handle 40% more load at regular inflation or the same load at 40% less air pressure. This technology is necessary as lowering the tire's inflation widens the terrain surface contact area, helping to avoid field retention.
The Agriflex+ 389 guarantees a secure off-road, different field performance. The non-directional tread design with the high void ratio improves the tire's soft and loose terrain performance. This footprint also boosts the self-cleaning ability. The soft traction and the VF technology enable the tire's better high flotation ability, which minimizes the driving pressure placed on the driving surface. As a result, the tire manages to resist soil retention from ruining the soil quality, ensuring that the field maintains its crop growing capability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
