Akuret Trailer Express HD
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Upgraded load durability
OVERVIEW
The Akuret Trailer Express HD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire greatly improves the all season traction. The all season compound and the ribbed tread design manage to work together in order to greatly upgrade the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The durable compound elements allow the tire to enhance the rubber flexibility, thanks to the reinforced rubber materials used during the manufacturing. The sipe pattern firmly grips the road surface contact with the use of extra biting edges. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, in wet weather conditions.
The flat footprint and the optimal tread design significantly enhance the controllability. The combination of these tread elements ensures the surface contact throughout the performance. In this manner, the tire is able to greatly upgrade the towing vehicle's control over the trailer. It guarantees better steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The solid shoulder ribs also help to increase the maneuvering power and trailer stability. They guarantee a safer cornering ability, while securing the structure and preventing the trailer's swaying at all times.
The Trailer Express HD enhances its load capacity. The reinforced internal structure enables the tire to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it greatly upgrades its overall load carrying capability. This promotes exceptional load durability, promoting heavy-duty performing safety.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
