The aggressive tread pattern helps resist hydroplaning, by eliminating water from below the footprint of the tire. The tire's summer weather safety is further enhanced by this feature.

The tire maintains its traction even on loose or uneven surfaces and the tread design allows it to conquer all extreme terrain road surfaces. The tread pattern also cleans out mud stuck between the tread grooves while the tire is in motion. As the tread is not blocked by mud, it does not lose its great road gripping ability, ensuring a first-rate all terrain performance.

The 838 MT is resistant to wear, and this slower wear rate lets the tire be used for a longer period of time.
