OVERVIEW

The Accelera X Grip 4S is a performance and high performance, all weather tire made for passenger vehicles.

The tire improves the all weather traction by utilizing the tread design and the all weather compound. The durable compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, including in freezing winter weather situations. On the other hand, the asymmetric tread design's high-density siping placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges. This combination enables the tire's severe winter weather performance in a secure manner, making the tire a true all weather model. The wider circumferential grooves effectively drain water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather traction by avoiding hydroplaning in the process.

The high speed controllability is guaranteed with the asymmetric tread design. The flat footprint maintains the surface contact at all times, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle at all times. The heat-resistant performance enables the tire to prevent heat build-up along the footprint. By lowering the pressure affecting the tire, the model is able to safely perform at its best high speed ability.

The Accelera X Grip 4S upgrades the maneuvering ability as well. The asymmetric tread design uses the rigid shoulder block pattern to enhance the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. The additional traction enables the tire to optimize the cornering and maneuvering ability throughout the performance. The asymmetric tread's high-density siping placement allows the tire to improve the braking power. The siping pattern allows the model to generate friction at the moment of braking, greatly shortening the braking distance and offering a safer performance.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
