Accelera Rho
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Accelera Rho is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The special all season tire compound and tread pattern work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread design increases the road grip for a safer year round driving experience. The dynamic tread grooves actively resist hydroplaning and enhance the wet weather traction by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint.
The constant road contact improves the model's controllability. The tread design's twin slant circumferential grooves improve the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its response to the driver's instructions. The tougher shoulder tread blocks upgrade the cornering ability and power by firmly gripping the road surface. They increase the number of biting edges that keep a firm grip during the tire's maneuvering.
The tread design manages to lengthen the tread life and tire usability. The semi-asymmetric tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out force of acceleration, cornering and braking effectively prevents irregular tread wear from forming along the tire's surface. The result is a longer lasting tread life and usability that makes the tire more cost efficient.
The Rho guarantees a comfortable driving experience. The tread design maintains road contact at all times. This decreases the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin by allowing the tire to closely follow the road surface. The shock of driving is not felt by the passengers, ensuring an enjoyable drive.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
