Performance

The Accelera Iota is a performance and high performance, all season tire for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The tire's tread pattern is designed to combine good traction for both wet and dry surfaces. The wet traction side of the tread pattern helps avoid hydroplaning, while the dry traction side of the pattern provides exceptional grip on dry roads. The tire's stability and steering responsiveness is provided by the center rib in the pattern. The tire's weight was lowered, effectively reducing the rolling resistance, and this in turn reduces the fuel usage. The Iota offers a comfortable, smooth ride on the road.

One side of the tread pattern is designed for wet and winter traction and to resist hydroplaning.

Dry Traction

The other side of the tread pattern is designed to improve the tire's grip and performance on dry road surfaces.

All Season Tire

The tire's asymmetric tread pattern and tire compound boost the all weather traction and road gripping ability.

Stability

Due to the center rib in the tire pattern, the tire is easy to control and has great steering responsiveness and accuracy.

Fuel Efficient

The tire is lighter which reduces the rolling resistance, and this lessens the fuel usage per mile and CO2 emission.

Being a touring tire, this model offers a smooth vibration free on-road drive with exceptionally easy handling.
