OVERVIEW

The Accelera Gamma is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes great controllability. The tread design features a continuous center rib that maintains the tire's road contact at all times. This road contact increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability of the tire while it is in motion. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while also stabilizing the structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block placement heightens the number of biting edges during cornering. They firmly grip onto the road surface and enhance the cornering and maneuvering capability. The better controllability and maneuvering power ensure a safer performance.

The model's tread design and silica-infused all season tire compound work together to boost the all weather traction. They enable the tire's secure performance in dry, wet and winter weather. The compound keeps its flexibility throughout the year, including in colder winter weather, while the siped tread elements enhance the model's road grip year round. The tread's wide circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and guarantee excellent driving security.

The Gamma manages to lower its rolling resistance with the silica-based tire compound. The compound lowers the overall tire weight without damaging the tire's all weather traction, which decreases the rolling resistance. This, in turn, reduces the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. The lessened rolling resistance also manages to slow the tread wear rate down significantly. The slower tread wear rate, along with the tread's ensured even wear, lengthens the tread life and the tire's usability.
