Roundrule Galapagos
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather performance
- Improved controllability
- Comfortable driving experience
OVERVIEW
The Roundrule Galapagos is a performance, all weather tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model comes with some touring sizes, too.
The asymmetric tread design and the durable all weather compound enhance dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The optimized siping pattern and the ideally placed tread elements increase road grip with additional biting edges. The compound keeps the tire's rubber flexible across a wide range of temperatures. Circumferential and angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.
The tire maintains constant surface contact, which improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. This allows the tire to be quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. These elements allow the driver to have full control over the vehicle.
The Roundrule Galapagos' tread block placement enables the tire to channel airwaves through the footprint, without allowing its contact with the tread elements. This way, the tread elements do not generate sound waves, which guarantees a comfortable drive. As road disturbances do not reach the vehicle's cabin, the model promotes a quiet experience.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
