OVERVIEW

The Radar Dimax R8+ is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

This tire is covered by Radar Road Hazard warranty. Tires are eligible for an equivalent replacement if the damage caused was within the first 2/32 of tread wear or the first year after the purchase of the tire, whichever comes first. The asymmetric tread design enhances the model's high speed handling. The tread's ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface throughout the year. The constant road contact upgrades the model's steering responsiveness and driving stability during high speed performance. In this manner, the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire, while the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands. The silica-compound, on the other hand, manages to prevent heat build-up by evenly distributing the driving pressure along the tread area, which further improves the high speed performing capability.

The tire ensures exceptional all weather traction. The silica-infused tire compound and the asymmetric tread design increase the dry, wet and light winter weather road gripping capability. This model is M+S rated for its capability to find firm grip throughout the year, while its silica-based compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread's four wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. In this manner, the tire ensures a safer year round driving experience.

The Dimax R8+ promotes a quiet drive. The asymmetric tread design's variable pitch sequence cancels out the road noise the moment it is generated. The variable pitch creates a sound frequency that negates the road and tread pattern noise. As a result, the vehicle's cabin is road noise free and it guarantees a comfortable and quiet performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
