The Nexen Winguard Winspike is a touring winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has highway terrain, light truck and commercial van sizes available as well.
The tire guarantees a safer winter weather traction. The directional tread pattern features a detailed siping design, an optimized tread block placement and wide grooves that enables the model to find good grip in winter weather, even when driving on snow or ice-covered road surfaces. The multiple wave and step sipes increase the tire's road gripping ability to ensure a safer drive. The model can be studded for additional traction. The wide V-shaped grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. Due to these enhancements, the tire received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol that those tires receive which can handle the harshest winter weather.
