OVERVIEW
The LoadMaxx R-4 is an all season tire manufactured for tractors.
Tires with the R-4 design are made for industrial applications. Due to this, they feature a stronger internal structure which is able to maintain the ideal tire shape under the pressure. This model features a reinforced bias-ply structure which maintains the ideal tire shape under the load pressure. As the tire does not deform under pressure, it is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. The tire promotes a durable load handling capacity.
The angled lug pattern and the surface contact of the footprint work together in order to improve the controllability. They ensure the surface contact and allow the tire to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, they promote a quick and precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This promotes a safer performing ability as it ensures the driver's control over the vehicle.
The R-4 also increases the different terrain traction. It utilizes the angled lug placement and the high void ratio in order to boost the forward motion at all times. These enable the tire to enhance the soft, loose, uneven, and hard terrain traction as well. The tread elements optimize the surface traction, promoting a safer performing traction.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
