- All weather traction
- Longer-lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Leao AFL866 is a highway terrain, all weather tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is built to be mounted on all axle positions.
All weather traction is offered with this model. This is achieved with the detailed tread design and the all weather compound. They work together to provide the necessary number of biting edges for even harsh winter-weather applications while keeping the tire pliable in various temperatures. This model can be used even in severe weather conditions. Additionally, circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They channel water and slush away from the footprint on wet roads and maintain surface contact at all times.
The tread pattern maintains constant road contact. The flat ribbed footprint closely follows the road throughout the drive. This effectively improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. It results in quick and precise steering responses, as well as a secured structure. Cornering is upgraded with shoulder ribs that provide additional biting edges. On the other hand, the ribbed pattern generates biting edges in order to shorten the overall braking distance.
The model boosts its service life and usability. The tire manages to optimize its treadwear rate and manner. Stronger compound elements and the tread’s ideal pattern work together to achieve this. They actively resist irregular and premature wear across the tread area. The model manages to evenly circulate driving pressure, preventing pressure accumulation. It also helps to decrease the treadwear rate, offering slower wear.
The Leao AFL866 offers great load and driving durability. Tires can deform under load pressure if their construction is not strong enough. Therefore, by reinforcing the sidewalls of this tire, it is able to securely handle larger loads. Great load capacity is ensured as the tire manages to increase its ability to carry and withstand such loads.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
