OVERVIEW
The Firestone Destination LE2 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for crossover vehicles, SUVs light trucks. This model has some touring passenger vehicles sizes as well. Firestone offers a 60,000 miles treadwear warranty with specific sizes of this model.
The detailed tread pattern promotes excellent all weather traction. The continuous closed shoulder tread block design improves the dry performance. The circumferential grooves, zigzag siping detail and the sweeping grooves prevent hydroplaning and boost the wet weather traction by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The stepped inside notches and the zigzag sipes find good grip on snow and ice-covered road surfaces. The enhanced road gripping ability ensures a safer year round driving experience.
The special five-degree variation of the tread pattern helps lower the road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The five-degree variation negates the road noise generated while the tires are in motion, by creating a sound frequency that cancels out the pattern noise. The lowered road noise levels ensure a more comfortable and quiet driving experience in all weather.
The tread design and the internal structure work together to offer a longer lasting tread life. The internal structure's twin steel belts reinforce the tire to be resistant to accidental damages and punctures.
