OVERVIEW

The Dcenti D5000 is a performance, all season tire made for passenger cars and SUVs.

This model is created with added silica compound that brings its gripping ability to another level. It makes the tire able to establish traction in every season despite the changing temperature and weather conditions. Combined with the directional tread pattern, the tire can dominate dry, wet and winter road conditions. The best thing about silica is that it maintains its flexibility when it's freezing cold. During the summer, on the other hand, it prevents pressure generated heat build-up. The tread pattern is densely populated with grooves, both circumferential and angled lateral, that prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush.

The directional tread design already does a lot for the tire's stability and controllability. It boasts outstanding surface contact throughout the performance, which largely contributes to its driving stability and steering responsiveness. While it maintains its structural stability against the driving pressure, it reacts quickly and accurately to the driver's commands. With the dense siping on the shoulder blocks, cornering becomes more reliable. The tread pattern is populated with directional, curved grooves that significantly shorten the tire's braking distance.

The tire relies on its detailed tread pattern, special rubber compound and shape to enhance driving comfort. It generates little to no driving vibrations during the drive, which makes the whole driving experience more enjoyable for the driver. Due to the silica compound, the tire features lower rolling resistance and runs more smoothly on the road surface. The wide, flat footprint is another huge indicator that the D5000 absorbs vibrations rather than generating them, which positively impacts the driver's comfort.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
