OVERVIEW

The Duro DI-5005 is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other garden equipment.

The tire promotes a lengthened tread life. The optimal tread design with the S-shaped tread blocks and the durable tire compound lower the tire's performing temperature. This effectively prevents premature tread wear from shortening the tire's usability. In fact, the reduced rolling temperature allows the tire to ensure a reduced even tread wear rate by lowering the pressure affecting the tire and guaranteeing a balanced pressure distribution.

The ideal tire shape and the optimized tread pattern work together to improve the tire's controllability. They maintain the tire's turf surface contact during its performance, enhancing the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better turf contact and the ideal traction boost the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's instructions and stabilize the tire's structure during its performance. The upgraded control enables the tire's safer performing capability.

The DI-5005 provides a turf friendly drive. The tread's S-shaped blocks enable the tire's soft traction which moves it forward without harming or damaging the turf and grass surface. In this manner, the tread improves the tire's performing capability on various turf surfaces, offering a safer performance.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
