OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar X-MT is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire increases the off-road terrain performance. The aggressive tread design, which extends to the sidewalls, improves the model's soft, loose and uneven terrain traction. These tread elements boost the grip on various terrain surface conditions. The staggered and stepped tread blocks, high void ratio and the sidewall blocks work together to ensure the tire's forward motion in deeper mud and loose dirt, preventing the tire from being stuck on the terrain due to lack of traction. The tread design's elements also keep the footprint clean. This tread pattern eliminates mud and snow and ejects rocks stuck between the tread elements. This prevents snow and mud from blocking the tire's surface contact, while it avoids stone retention, guaranteeing a safer off-road driving experience.

The durable structure and stronger compound enhance the tire's longevity. The reinforced geo-shield construction features a full nylon cover, a steel belt structure and a strengthened sidewall protection that work together to maintain the tire's ideal shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. The stronger construction also manages to protect the tire against the dangers of off-road driving. This also helps the tire to prevent damage to the casing. Punctures, cuts and impact damage are avoided in this manner with the reinforced internal structure. The tread's durable polymer compound slows the tread wear rate down.
