The Synergy BW221 is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Synergy offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread pattern and the silica-based tire compound work together to enhance the dry, wet and light winter weather road gripping ability. The asymmetric tread's close road contact enhances the tire's grip on the road surface throughout the year, as the tire is rated M+S. The silica-based tire compound improves the cold temperature flexibility and it avoids weather damage from harming the tire's tread area. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from beneath the tire's footprint and actively enhance the wet and winter weather traction.
The continuous center ribs maintain the tire's road contact at all times. This increases the steering responsiveness and the driving pressure affecting the model. The better constant road contact upgrades the tire's steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting it. The asymmetric tread's wider outer shoulder pattern increases the number of biting edges to improve the model's cornering and maneuvering capability.
