The Samson GL116S is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made for the vehicle's steer axle. The solid rib pattern and the flat footprint prevent irregular wear formations across the tread area, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility and avoids premature wear. The stronger traction enables the tire to decrease the rolling resistance during the drive, which minimizes the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. The GL116S improves the load and driving durability, as the reinforced internal structure does not allow the tire to deform under heavy load pressure.

The strengthened internal structure allows the tire to ease the pressure off the tire, during its performance. In this manner, the model is able to securely carry and withstand heavy load pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to improve the overall load capacity. The reinforced construction also works together with the ribbed tread design, enabling the tire to maintain the surface contact. This greatly enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the performance.

The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire, which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake in order to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance, enables the tire to decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This results in a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience in all weather situations.

The symmetric ribbed tread design and the flat footprint work together to improve the usability. They evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area, avoiding irregular wear formations. On the other hand, the stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile conditions, reducing the tread wear rate across the tread area. The slower and even wear greatly enhances the service life.
