OVERVIEW
The Radar RLT-9 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The special durable tire compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design improves the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The all weather compound enhances the tire's traction by offering a better rubber flexibility in various weather conditions. The ribbed tread design with the detailed elements upgrades the tire's grip on the road surface throughout the year, including on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. As a result, the tire guarantees a secure year round performance.
The special tread pattern manages to boost the tire's year round controllability. The continuous center rib maintains the tire's road contact at all times, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This improves the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while also stabilizing the structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block placement enhances the cornering ability. They heighten the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, providing a secure maneuvering power. The detailed tread design with the circumferential grooves and the diagonal tread blocks increase the braking capability. They create friction between the road surface and the tire at the moment of braking, which significantly shortens the braking distance and ensures a better driving safety.
The RLT-9 was manufactured with the durable tire compound and a reinforced internal structure. The compound helps prevent damage to the casing and the tread area by resisting punctures, cuts and chipping. The full steel belt construction optimizes the tire structure against the driving and load pressure affecting the model. As a result, the tire does not deform under the pressure which increases its load carrying and handling capability. This allows the tire to improve its load durability and performing ability.
