OVERVIEW
The Radar R-A1 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's all axle positions.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The all season tread design and the symmetric tread pattern with the optimal siping detail maintain a firm and consistent grip on the road surface throughout the year. The dry, wet and winter weather traction is guaranteed as the compound keeps its rubber flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the sipes increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The tread's wide circumferential grooves channel water and slush away from the tire's footprint. This allows the tire to upgrade the year round driving safety and performance.
The model offers a lengthened tread life. The tread design's ribbed pattern features closed shoulder ribs that keep the tire's road contact at all times. In this manner, the model improves the tread life by evenly circulating the driving pressure along the tread area. The force of acceleration, braking and cornering is equally spread out on the tire's surface, which actively prevents the formation of irregular wear along the tread area. The longer lasting even tread wear greatly extends the tire's usability and tread life.
The R-A1's tread pattern improves its controllability. The tread's symmetric ribbed pattern maintains the tire's road contact at all times.
