OVERVIEW

The Presa PI14 is a touring winter tire manufactured for passenger, crossover and sport utility vehicles.

The softer tire compound and the optimized tread design boost the winter weather traction. They work together to ensure excellent snow and ice traction without studs. The tread design's 3D sipes enhance the road gripping ability on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves work together to increase the hydroplaning resistance and to maintain a clean footprint. The grooves disperse slush and clean out snow stuck between the tread elements to keep the tire constantly clean. As a result, the tire has received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol that ensures its excellent winter weather performance.

The tire's optimized tread design features a directional tread pattern with large tread blocks. The directional tread design maintains constant road contact which creates friction at the moment of braking. This manages to shorten the braking distance by firmly gripping the road surface in all conditions. The tread also features a solid center rib. It keeps its road contact at all times and ensures a quicker and more precise steering responsiveness and a secure driving stability. The combination enhances the model's controllability in all winter weather.

The PI14 guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The special optimized tread design channels the airwaves through the tire's footprint without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. In this manner, the road noise is not generated while the tires are in motion, offering lowered road noise levels. The tire was manufactured from a softer tire compound.
