Power King Towmax Vanguard
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced controllability
- Upgraded load durability
- Longer-lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Power King Towmax Vanguard is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The ideal tread design and the close road contact enhance steering responsiveness and towing stability. In other words, it increases the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is stabilized against driving pressure. At the same time, the outer ribs upgrade the cornering ability. This model also offers excellent year-round performance, thanks to this tread design and the all season compound. They enhance dry, wet, and wet weather traction while preventing hydroplaning in wet situations.
The model also boosts load and driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and the strong rubber compound maintain the optimal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under pressure, it is able to carry and withstand heavy loads. This significantly enhances the tire's load capacity, which makes this model an excellent choice for trailer applications.
The Power King Towmax Vanguard also lengthens its service life. The ribbed tread design and the wear-resistant compound prevent irregular and premature wear formations across the tread area. In this manner, the tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread, while the special compound slows the treadwear rate down. These elements guarantee a longer-lasting tread life.
This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
